Our Good Work
Below are some of the good work that we carry out within our setting to celebrate various events and the fun activities that we participate in. We also give our parents/ children the opportunity to visit places that they have never had the opportunity to visit before.

On Friday 11th October 2024 all staff presented our Manager and Deputy Manager with an award and gifts to celebrate 12 successful years of their service that they have provided at Milkyway Preschool Playgroup . We would like to thank Mr M A Khan and Mrs MN Khan for all of their hard work they have provided for the high quality services to maximise the learning potential of young children and promoting community cohesion within the society . We wish them all the best for more successful years ahead.

On the Monday 4th November 2024 Mr and Mrs Khan presented Jessica with an award and gifts to celebrate 10 Years of Service at Milkyway Preschool Playgroup. All staff wish Jessica more happy years at Milkyway. We all appreciate her contribution to quality teaching. Other staff presented her with some lovely gifts and gift vouchers.

On the last day of term before our Christmas Half Term holiday all staff joined together at ' My Nawaab' and enjoyed a variety of food .
Mr Khan and Mrs Khan would like to thank all members of staff for all of their hard work.

Every Year all staff, children and parents join in with our yearly Christmas Party where everybody joins in with a variety of party games, all parents share a home cooked dish with each other and all children have a special visit from Father Christmas.
Early Years Celebration Awards 2025
We're Award Winners!
All of us at Milkyway Preschool Playgroup are thrilled to announce that our nursery setting have received two prestigious awards in recognition of our dedication to providing the best possible care and education for young children in the Early Years sector .
Milkyway Preschool Staff attended an award ceremony on Friday 28th February 2025 at the 'Manchester Monastery' and received an award in the following two categories :

Award For Significant Improvements in Practice & Provision- This award reflects the hard work and commitment of our team in continuously enhancing our learning environment , curriculum and overall nursery experience to ensure the best outcomes for the children in our care.

EYPDP Training Achievement- Two members of staff have successfully completed the Early Years Professional Development Programme ( EYPDP) demonstrating our commitment to ongoing professional growth and delivering the highest quality of Early Years Education. These awards area a testament to our passion for creating a nurturing , engaging and enriching environment where every child can thrive .
These awards were given by the Director Of Education and Manchester City Council.
Thank you to all of our wonderful staff, parents and children for being part of this wonderful journey with us.
